Truth to be told, I just forgot to blog about my blog. Wondering what I am talking about?
I launched my pro blog on 2nd March 2013, Engineeric. I have been on its tail for the last 3-4 months. That will be the place where I will be putting up all the things that I know about Technology and Hacking.
The idea of a new blog came to me last November. I was in our library, goggling, I came across hacker spaces. The images of various hacker spaces reminded me of one of my wish – To make my room ‘Engineeric’ by using things that I build as an electronics engineer. ‘Enigeeric.. Hmm… Why cant I build a blog?’. I called up @arunbasillal, my friend (and right now my host). I said to him about the idea I had. I got full support from him, to go on with the project. So I started with it. I built two templates. I had to change the first two cuz’ it was not compatible with the new WordPress Platform. The third one was good and awesome. I was finished with everything by February first week. But then came some delays, I had to wait for one more month. But at last, It was up n’ online on 2ndMarch. There is something else that I learnt . In Paulo Coelho’s ‘The Alchemist’, there is a quote which goes something like this,
‘And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.’
When I decided to make the blog, I never knew where to start from, what to do or anything. But I saw things coming together. I didn’t even had money to host it, but at last it turned out Ok. Piece by piece, everything came into place, even people whom I never thought has nothing to do with it, helped me at the critical points, and there were times when I thought I should never build one, but at those points some people kept me motivated.
I have heard this somewhere ‘I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of that he hopes to is that moment when he has worked his harder, out of good cause and lies exhausted in the field of battle, victorious’ Sure I didn’t do any war, But that feeling I got when I did something on my own, after all those work, that was my finest hour. That proud kinda feeling when I saw Engineeric.com in my browser, that was something new. Finally I was starting to live my life, finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, I am just hoping to get out of this Rat Race. I deserve better than Rat Race.
